Fairline Boats is the world’s leading manufacturer of luxury power yachts, ranging in size from 38 to 78 feet long. The Oundle-based company was established in 1967 and has now produced over 12,000 boats, delivered to customers right across the globe.
Radical Precision Engineering was approached by Fairline to produce the complex, marine-specification porthole and window assemblies for the Fairline Squadron, Targa and Phantom ranges. Using the on-site Toyoda twin-pallet and Bridgeport VMC machines, Radical Precision Engineering produces 20-25 of these assemblies per month, constructed from marine-grade aluminium and assembled with bespoke plastic and stainless steel fittings.
These same skills are used by Radical Precision Engineering to manufacture the advanced hydraulic retractable roof assemblies that some Fairline yacht models use.
